Between 2002 and 2008, Mezzo di Pasta expanded its network of fast-food outlets offering a variety of Italian dishes including fresh pasta, filled pasta, focaccias, ciabattas, salads, and pastries. By 2011, the network achieved sales of €45 million across 128 outlets, primarily operated as franchises. The company experienced a remarkable growth rate of +67% up to 2010.
In 2008 and 2010, Arts et Biens invested capital and bonds to support Mezzo di Pasta’s expansion initiatives.
Mezzo di Pasta was sold to Bridgepoint Development Capital in 2011.
